Cyndi Rogoff

Cyndi Rogoff's colourful canvases have a suggestive presence that evoke intense visual pleasure by appealing directly to the senses. The works reflect subtleties of colour, light, luminosity and form. They are multi-layered and richly textured with complex under-painting. The gestural movements in her paintings have what can be described as a 'lyrical fluency'. The artworks each have their own distinctive feeling and various uses of mixed media and embedded metals are also intricately woven within the layers
