Sally McDonald

Sally McDonald primarily works in acrylic, resin and mixed media to create layered atmospheric textural works. She views the world around her in revelation, enchanted by the colour, texture, movement and light of the Australian landscape. How she translates emotions onto canvas and engage one’s senses through a considered combination of media is core to her practice. Self-described as an intuitive painter, the Australian landscape is an ever-present inspiration for her work.
