Melanie Vugich

After growing up in the outback town of Broken Hill and spending time studying and painting in Adelaide and Sydney, I headed to London, travelled around Europe and ended up living in Florence for over 20 years. During this time I held countless solo and joint exhibitions, developed my skills as a fabric designer and created prints for some of Italy's biggest fashion labels. Now I live in the Sydney beachside suburb of Bronte, where I swim in the ocean all year round, teach school kids and adults to paint, take on the odd fabric-design job, create beautiful hand painted scarves and spend every spare minute at my easel.
